While hiking near Stateline in Tahoe, I came upon this tree decorated with Christmas ornaments. I loved the randomness of the event and had to capture the mood I was feeling. It was cold. The ponds were frozen yet there was no snow on the ground. That is one of my favorite times to be in Tahoe.
